I am Donna and I began McLaughlin Photo Video 20 years ago. My start in Photography was as an Underwater Photographer working in Bonaire and Cayman Brac. On these beautiful remote islands I learned much about different cultures, the true importance of close relationships, and photography. My first topside photos were of island vistas, local residents, special events, and tropical flowers. These beginnings evolved into passion for Lifestyle and Wedding Photography and Video in the Florida Keys. I love capturing chance moments in a way that later make you feel the same emotion. With my camera I can include golden natural light, tropical backgrounds, and personal connection.
Jenifer has been with McLaughlin Photo Video for 10 years. As your photographer, her mission is to not just capture images but to encapsulate the emotions, love, and unique essence of your special day. “My approach is not just taking pictures; it's about creating an environment where you feel at ease. I understand that being in front of the camera can be daunting, and my goal is to make you comfortable so that your genuine emotions shine through effortlessly.” Photography is more than just clicking a button; it's about telling a story. Our goal is to capture the subtleties that make your love story unique.
Luke is our main video editor and amazing videographer. He works hard to bring your wedding day to life in film with a gift of choosing the right music to tell your story. You may also see Luke capturing beautiful candid moments while assisting on larger reservations.
Leslie, Savannah, Kara, and Bree assist on large Wedding reservations and photograph lots of our Intimate Weddings in both still and video formats. One of the greatest strengths of a team lies in its diversity. Each team member brings a unique set of skills, experiences, and perspectives to the table.
In our close-knit team, collaboration isn't just a buzzword; it's the heartbeat of our creative journey. Picture this: Jen changing my lens, me holding Luke’s Video Light, Leslie setting up a tripod for Bree, Savannah supporting me with a steady hand on the ladder, and Bree effortlessly gathering the flower girls for Jen. It's a symphony of assistance, a dance of teamwork where we seamlessly support each other to ensure that every moment is captured with precision and artistry.
