About This Wedding
Florida Keys weddings always have a special kind of magic to them that cannot be found anywhere else in the U.S. After all, there are not many places where romance and the tropical sea breeze come together to create the perfect mood to say "I do" to the man of your dreams. So when McLaughlin Photo Video sent over Carissa & Evan's sweet oceanfront soirée at the Hilton Key Largo Resort, we just could not resist diving in to this lovely for a bit. Carissa & Evan celebrated their love with their closest friends and family in tow, and we could not think of a better way to begin life together as Mr. & Mrs. Wouldn't you have to agree? Congrats to these darling newlyweds from all of us at Borrowed & Blue, and we wish them many more years of laughter and happiness together!
The Couple
HIM The bridegroom-elect is a maternal grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Fleming of Aiken, SC. He is a 2003 graduate of Aiken High School. He is a 2008 graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and a 2013 graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina with a Doctor of Medicine. He is employed by CHRISTUS Spohn Health System.
HER The bride is a 2005 graduate of American Heritage High School. She is a 2009 graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in International Business, and a 2011 graduate of Citadel Graduate College with a Masters in Business Administration and Management. She is employed by Boeing Company.
TOGETHER Carissa & Evan love the outdoors. When they are not working you can find them kayaking, skiing, swimming, fishing, sailing, dog sledding or where ever the next adventure may take them.
Words of Wisdom
From the bride….
It was important to us to keep things simple. While we had a wedding full of many traditions we just wanted a romantic simple feel where we could celebrate with our friends and family. Our advice is to stay true to want you want for your day.
What's Next
After the wedding the couple will make Corpus Christi, Texas there new home.
